New Patch Archives
We updated our Patch Archives to better document and preserve the history of our lodge's patches. This updated expands on the previous archives by adding more photos, details, and information about both past and present lodge patches. As the archive continues to grow, addition patches and historical information will be added to help members learn more about the traditions and history of our lodge.
The Daily Beaver
The Daily Beaver is this years' new rebrand of our Lodge Newsletter. It is a more expansive way to get Arrowmen and their families to interact with the Lodge outside of our events. We've added new items such as Arrowmen Spotlight where we feature lodge members on their accomplishments in Scouting, Patch Highlight where we feature our upcoming event patches to get people excited, National and Section Events to introduce Arrowmen to new experiences, Quarterly Chief's Address which allows Arrowmen of all Honor Levels to elicit transparant communication between Lodge leadership and Arrowmen, and Interactive portions allows fun and approachable way for Arrowmen to engage in Lodge communications.
Summer BBQ
With summer travels and camps, many need a way to get back into Scouting events. This event allows for fun, fellowship, and cheerful service. This year we are hosting a potluck-style BBQ, with outdoor games, grilled food (like hot dogs and burgers), and a quick clean up of the areas we use. The planned date is August 15th, 2026. Stay tuned for the location, time, and supply sign-up! If you have any suggestions/requests please do not hesistate to contact one of the Lodge Officers or Advisers!
Shoulder Bead System
The Lodge 188 shoulder bead system is a fun way to track your journey in the Order and show your involvement in the lodge. Beads aren’t tradeable; they represent the experiences you’ve earned along the way. You can earn beads by coming to events, serving as a committee chair, or being a member of the Lodge Executive Committee. Each cord includes “188” at the bottom so you can proudly represent our lodge at events like Cornerstone Conclave and lodge activities.The bead system also helps start conversations and build friendships, especially for new Ordeal members meeting up with their Buddy after the Ordeal Ceremony. It’s all about getting involved, making connections, and having fun along the way.
Mental Health Patch
We created this fundraiser patch to support the Mental health challenges and individuals and families effect. , It is important that those who are struggling feel supported and understood. Proceeds from this patch will directly benefit and fund education, advocacy, and community programs that provide hope and save lives.By supporting this fundraiser, Arrowmen help raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and reflect the values of the Scout Oath and Law through service, compassion, and care for others. ** This is not the final draft just a proof of concept.
Eagle Donation Flap
The special Itibap Eagle Flap recognizes Eagle Scouts who invite the lodge to their Eagle Court of Honor and have that invitation accepted. To be eligible, the Scout must be an active lodge member at the time the invitation is submitted. This flap celebrates the achievement of earning the rank of Eagle Scout and honors their connection to the Lodge.Scouts who have already earned Eagle may purchase one Eagle flap through the lodge, provided they are active members at the time of purchase. Proceeds from these purchased flaps help fund Eagle flaps for future Eagle Scouts in Itibap. Each Scout may only receive OR purchase one Eagle flap.
