Events Central
Welcome to the Events page! Here you’ll find information on all upcoming lodge activities as well as a record of past events. Whether you are a new candidate, a current member, or a parent, this page will help you stay connected and plan your participation.
Attending events is a key part of being a brother of Lodge 188, and one of our 2026 goals is to increase event attendance by 10%. We can only achieve this goal with your participation—every Scout who shows up helps make our lodge stronger, more connected, and more vibrant.
Yearly events
The Winter Banquet kicks off our lodge year by celebrating the accomplishments of the previous year. We recognize outstanding Arrowmen, honor Vigil members, and install new lodge officers. There’s also a silent patch auction, making it a fun opportunity to add to your collection. Families are welcome, and it’s a great way to start the year together.
iLead is our leadership training event for all Arrowmen. Members learn essential skills for leading their chapters, committees, and the lodge as a whole. The weekend includes guest speakers and hands-on, interactive workshops that prepare Arrowmen to take on more responsibility in the Order of the Arrow.
Spring Ordeal is when new candidates complete their induction into the Order of the Arrow. Returning members help with service projects, ceremonies, and supporting candidates as they become fully inducted Arrowmen. It’s a meaningful weekend focused on service, fellowship, and the traditions of our lodge.
Cornerstone Conclave brings together lodges from our section for training, competitions, fellowship, and fun. Arrowmen can meet peers from other lodges, learn new skills, and represent Itibapishe in section-level activities, including competitive events and ceremonial showcases.
Spring Fellowship is a weekend full of lodge activities, competitions, and fellowship. Members can participate in games, skill-building activities, and service projects while connecting with other Arrowmen. Typical activities include bounce houses, lake days, and other fun outdoor events.
Summer Call-Outs recognize the newest Arrowmen at Camp John J. Barnhardt during Friday night campfires. These events celebrate Scouts who have been elected into the Order of the Arrow and give them their first taste of the OA experience. There is also an ice cream social for all new and current members, making it a fun and welcoming celebration.
Fall Ordeal is the final induction weekend of the year. Candidates complete their journey to become Arrowmen, while returning members support ceremonies, service projects, and the lodge community. It’s a meaningful weekend focused on service, fellowship, and lodge traditions.
Cub Weekend is a special lodge program for Cub Scouts. Arrowmen help lead activities, games, and camping experiences while introducing younger Scouts to the Order of the Arrow. It’s a weekend of fun, learning, and community for families and Scouts alike.
Fall Fellowship is one of our most energetic events. It includes lodge games, competitions, patch trading, service projects, and major lodge program announcements. New officers are voted in during this event. Typical activities include mountain biking, car smashing, and open-range games, making it a fun and action-packed way to end the lodge year.
