Occupational Therapy supports children and adolescents who experience challenges with everyday skills and age-appropriate development. Our therapists focus on helping children build functional independence and participate more successfully in daily activities at home, school, and within their community.
Therapy is provided through individualized sessions, small groups, or co-treatment with other specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists when appropriate. Using an activity-based and child-centered approach, intervention targets the underlying skills essential for learning, play, and self-care. Therapy may also support school readiness and complement the child’s educational program when needed.
Collaboration is an essential part of Occupational Therapy. Our therapists work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure that therapeutic goals are meaningfully integrated into the child’s daily routines. The overall goal is to support children in developing the skills they need for greater independence now and in the future.
