This page provides an introduction to a series of interactive templates designed for use by language learners to  display vocabulary that relates to the changes that occur in a given concept area - from one continuous state or action to another.
The horizontal lines represent the passage of time ( from left to right ).
Vertical lines represent instant changes .  These are verbs. e.g. wake up/fall asleep  - stand up/sit down - open it/close it
Diagonal lines represent gradual transitional change from one continuous state to another.  Usually these are verbs.  e.g. getting dressed / gettting undressed,   on my way to / on my way back
The bell-curve represents the gradual changes in state that occur over a period of time. Usually these are adjectives.
Between the states there are transitions - Usually these are verbs : getting / growing / becoming / turning etc.

Scroll on down and click the box in the bottom left end of the line and drag it along the line to display the contents of the interactive text boxes . By default, the target language is presented and touching with the cursor or clicking, the learner's native language can be displayed as alternate text .  These templates are generic and are using percentages rather than language.
More layers and different text can be added as needed.   The examples listed below are the most recently developed.
