Nicknamed “Yukinko-gou”, the Iiyama Shared Taxi that was tested in 2025 is officially beginning service in October!
Yukinko-gou is a taxi service that you can request on LINE or by phone call, taking you from your doorstep to your destination. For efficient operation, passengers will share a ride with others who book a ride for the same direction or time slot. (Solo rides are also accommodated.)
In the case that a passenger shares a ride with others, they will be eligible for a 20-30% discount.
Furthermore, special 75-80% discounts are available by application for passengers who fall under these categories:
Those who are 75 or older
Those who are 18 or younger
Those who are 65 or older and do not have a driver’s license
Those who are 18 or older, have a Disability Certificate, and do not have a driver’s license
Those who have a driver’s license, but cannot drive due to illness or other reasons

"Boxing looks hard..." You say? That's okay! Why not try a fun way to exercise while enjoying the punches and steps of boxing? You can participate even if you're a beginner or haven't exercised in a while. At the end of the day, you'll feel refreshed from working up a good sweat! Come enjoy an invigorating day together.

Ticket price: ¥2500 for adults, ¥1000 for high schoolers or under. Tickets purchased on the day of will come with an additional ¥500 fee.
Ticket information: All tickets are general admission. Admission for children not yet enrolled in school who require seats will cost the same as high schoolers or under.

The Iiyama Music Celebration, which always boasts a full house, has returned to welcome autumn in brilliant fashion.
Created by the hard work of Iiyama's citizens, this year will be the 8th edition of the Music Celebration thanks to everyone's support.
At this year's Music Celebration, the hundred-person city choir will sing from the heart and perform all four movements of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, as well as several famous opera songs.
