Osaka City and Iiyama City declared a sister city relationship for sports exchange (skiing) on December 6, 1974, and further expanded the field of exchange on September 25, 2016. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this sister city relationship, there will be a ceremony, choral performances, food stalls, souvenirs for sale, and mascot meet and greet.

Iiyama City is celebrating its 70th anniversary as a city. Through nostalgic items and photographs from the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, we look back on Iiyama City’s 70-year history.

Seishiro Inose (1937-2023) pursued realistic sculpture of the human body throughout his life, and his creative activities centered on exhibiting his works in the Sculpture Division of KOKUTEN. This exhibition will feature more than 40 pieces of Mr. Inose's works exhibited at KOKUTEN from his early years to his last years.
