Mayudama is made out of rice flour, water and food coloring. It is often made during the New Year, and it is offered to Japanese deities to pray for good health and harvest in the new year. It will harden as the days go by, but it will soften after reheating it. Many people bring it to their local Dosojin Festival to grill and eat it!

YUKIGUNI University is a lifelong learning program provided by the Iiyama City Community Center. This time, a yoga lesson that combines muscle-building exercise will be held, teaching yoga that extends into the realm of rehabilitation. It gently engages muscles throughout the entire body, particularly those difficult to train through regular exercise, leading to improved overall physical strength. It is easy to do even if you are not good at exercising, so why not add it to your daily routine?
