In recent years, clay figurines from the Jomon period have attracted much attention.
By displaying clay figurines found at sites in the Iiyama area, such as the Fukasawa and Higashihara sites, as well as in the surrounding areas, such as Sakae Village, Kijimadaira Village, and Nozawaonsen Village, we will explore some aspects of the spiritual life of the Jomon people who lived in this region.
