OAE Tutoring for Licensure

OAE Tutoring Opportunity for racially and ethnically minoritized individuals:  I Educate Montgomery County seeks to increase the diversity of teachers so they are increasingly representative of the student demographics in the school districts.  I Educate Montgomery County defined this population as those who have been historically marginalized and are continually minoritized due to institutional practices, policies, programs, as well as individual cultural attitudes, biases, and discrimination.

Racially and ethnically minoritized groups may include but are not limited to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC); first (or second) generation immigrants from minoritized nations; individuals with linguistic diversity; people who are Middle-Eastern or Arab; members of the Latin-American diaspora. Racially and ethnically minoritized individuals and groups are people who have experienced discrimination based on race, ethnicity, country, or culture of origin.

The Ohio Assessment for Educators is a standardized test required by the Ohio Department of Education.  For more information about the OAE, you may visit the site set up regarding the exam.  The site has information regarding the test that you will be required to take, the general framework or domains to be covered and other information regarding the OAE.  Please find more information on the OAE here.
