This is the ed /d/ sound
We can -ed to the end of a verb to show that it is a past tense word (it happened already/in the past)
When we add -ed to the end of a word it can make a /t/ sound (pushed) or a /d/ sound (enjoyed) or an /ed/ sound (booted)
This week you will focus on words that sound like /d/ when they have -ed added to the end of them
Synthetic Inquiry: Read the three examples words above in a mirror and note how your mouth changes shape to make the sounds. Write about what you noticed in your book.
