-y /i/ and -y /e/

This is the -y sound

-y can be added as a suffix to a base word to turn it into an adjective, this week you will focus on words that do not use -y as a suffix. The -y is part of the base word (eg. apply)

-y at the end of a word can be pronounced /i/ or /e/

Choose half of your words with the /i/ sound and half with the /e/ sound. Write them in 2 lists separate in your book
