This is the -y and -ly suffixes
A suffix is a group of letters that go at the end of a word to give it meaning
When we add -y to a base word that ends in an -e, we need to drop the -e and then add -y
When we add -ly to a base word, we do not need to change the base word
Adding -y to a base word changes it from a noun to an adjective
Adding -ly to a base word changes it from a noun or adjective to an adverb
