June 2006 - Keith Bage - Just a quick word to say THANK YOU! For such a wonderful resource, which is your Bowesfield Lane School website.
I am in fact researching John Cradock Bage, master (and other Bage's) and have found your site invaluable. Often people go uncommmended for such a labour of love, but I congratulate you for the great detail of this site.
July 11th 2005- Steve Lambert -An excellent site, you have obviously worked hard and researched the history of the old school, including the surrounding areas. I certainly remember a few teachers , in particular Mrs Raine, who was very influential and helped me adjust to my rather brief spell at the school in 1971-72.
August 13th 2004 - Margaret Sanders -A great site. All the OPIES mentioned in the school are my family members. I live in West Yorkshire and therefore the information you have transcribed is a great help.
My mother attended this school and my cousin taught in it. I look forward to future updates.
March 31st 2004 - Jackie Wright- This site is fantastic, I love it..! I loved reading the extracts from the reports on this site, some of the wording is fascinating. I have told loads of people about this site, it has been a fantastic read, I will keep checking back to see any updates.
November 11th 2003 - Nice to see you are still updating your site, I find it all very interesting and look forward to future updates. Regards - Brian W Kitching.
August 9 2003- Thomas Wilberforce - Very good. Wish I could find more like this.

"Yesterday, our local free newspaper had an article in about Bowesfield Lane School - about the history of it etc!! It included their web site which is absolutely brilliant!!! It has all sorts on - photos of the old building and the new one. Some pupils names and all sorts! I've been through all the links and enjoyed it. It's well worth a look!" Jan Boyes
