Different courses are developed to implement HL in physiotherapy education. We choose a sandwich model, which connect didactical principles of the Miller pyramid with the HL courses. On the base are the lectures on HL the “knows” and “knows how” represented. In the middle of the sandwich model, courses focus on learner performance in clinical situations.
The courses on “training of communication skills” as well as “health literacy simulation interviews“ are simulation orientated, the other courses are aligned to the action stage. On the top of the sandwich, the digital HL connected all courses. All the courses are aligned to the HL-competencies. The courses are mostly on the micro-level addressed, the community intervention is on the meso-level implemented.
