All international students with student visa (D-2) or any other type of visa (F, E-type) that allows taking degree program in Korea, must report the change in any information of Alien Registration Card (ARC) within 14 days of the occurrence to Ulsan Immigration Office.
Change of information can be reported by either visiting the Ulsan Immigration Office or online at HiKorea, the immigration website. It is the student’s responsibility to update the information on time. If the change is NOT reported within 14 days, he or she will get fined.
Passport name, Gender, Date of birth and nationality
Passport Number, Date of Issuance, and Date of expiration of the passport
Residence Address
Change of school (including school name changes)
In principle, changing (transferring) schools to an improperly run school is prohibited
After completing a masters or doctorate degree, it is prohibited to change schools in order to study for an identical degree (master’s degree → master’s degree, doctorate degree → doctorate degree). These individual should instead leave the country and apply for a new visa.

Any change must be reported within 15 days of the change occurring
Required documents shall be represented at the local Immigration Office personally or by proxy.
※ Failure to report changes in the listed particulars above will result in the imposition of a fine in accordance with Article 35 of the Immigration Control Law of the Republic of Korea.
