The Center for Communicable Diseases (CDC) contains a wealth of information. See the Data and Statistics section. Much of the data is available in interactive applications, or pdf format. Data in CSV format is more useful to data gurus, but there is a necessity for data aggregators and data resources to create pivot tables that add value as far as quickly selecting views according to stakeholder needs. In addition, data gurus will appreciate the ability to use features in Excel to quickly take data analysis to a whole new level.
