Denver Health is a large Safety Net hospital. Extracts from a number of Excel data sets are most helpful when we can see how a facility compares to State or National quintiles. Quintiles also allow us to calculate an overall Performance Index. Annual trends are also very useful to hold stakeholders accountable. See also:

• Hospital Quality Reports - Colorado Hospital Association : Lacks aggregated data sets and trends of metrics. No quintiles, either.
• Medicare - Hospital Compare: So many data sets, but all in CSV format, Pivot tables would be so much more helpful. Trends needed.
• American Hospital Directory: If you want their data, you must buy it. This propietary data has a free profile of individual hospitals, but some basic pivot tables would increase their user traffic.
• Colorado Hospital Association: Utilization data should be in Excel, not pdf, and data must be converted to "human level". To understand the financial quality of hospitals, CHA should publish the Medicare-required Hospital Cost Reports.
