The Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC) is responsible for Colorado's All-Payer Claims Database. The data sets below were downloaded from their website and are provided here as pivot tables, to allow users to compare counties, see variations of various metrics, and support local communities to take effective action. Anyone, particularly County Public Health Agencies (See Jefferson County Health Data Portal), can open a pivot table, select their county and print a pdf of their metrics compared to the state percentiles.
For more examples of pdf extracts, by county, see Summit County as well as Denver County
The All-Payer Claims Data (APCD) efforts offer exceptional value if we can begin to see more data sets from them. See this justification by Arkansas APCD
From each Excel pivot table, a set of pdf extracts can be created to list all counties in Colorado, with quintiles for each metric. In Excel, users can also sort any metric from high to low, or low to high.
Currently, one data set is available at CIVHC: Facility Data re Imaging Procedures - Cost, Quality and Value (CQV). We are looking forward to more.
