This "Health Data Portal" provides all varieties of stakeholders access to public data sets in a standardized Excel format. Without effective data transparency, Stakeholders cannot do their important work, and they cannot be held accountable without relevant metrics and tracking trends. Serious users of health data will have basic Excel skills, or have data analysts who are competent in Excel. Serious users will create pdf extracts from the Excel spreadsheets by selecting their relevant metadata, and serious Stakeholders will printout relevant pdf extracts.

Examples of pdf sets have also been created for counties in other states: King County WA and Outagamie WI. Every state health department should collaborate to create their own "Health Data Portal" to support local/county public health officials. Be Healthy Denver is a consortium of stakeholders seeking to improve the health of all Denver residents. Data extracted from a variety of data sets provides the metrics to monitor performance, facilitate collaboration and hold stakeholders accountable for effective action.
