Space for Nature

Join us for a community nature walk around Denmead led by Katy Froud, Wilder Neighbourhoods Officer from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust.

On the walk we will:

• Identify existing wildlife habitats and species

• Locate areas for improvement and habitat creation

• Create a community action plan to make space for nature

Whether its a flowerpot, flowerbed, wild patch of your lawn or an entire meadow, planting pollinator-friendly plants can support a wide range of insects. We're asking residents of Denmead to pledge a patch to pollinators and create a corridor of nectar-rich flowers across the village.  Please let us know if you take part as we will put your patch on the map at the end of the year  to show what we've achieved.
