The railway from Bullo up into the Forest was narrow, broad and standard gauge during its 150 plus years existence. It also boasted what is claimed to be the oldest tunnel on a public railway in the UK. I was lucky enough to have a footplate trip on the line in December 1965, just before the end of steam working.
