Have you ever wondered where you go when you die? Look no further than the Universe of Ghosts. With thousands of realms to give a home to all the deceased, this is what death looks like. But who is managing this massive universe? Ten Council members and two upper gods. The Council members rotate out at their leisure, with the rules to who rules very relaxed. All the members have their own specific jobs to make sure all things are covered within their system. They hold regular meetings, work together to keep things afloat, live in their own realm, and are always in close quarters with one another. What could possibly go wrong?

One night, two of the most prestigious Council members are caught at the Gate of Darkness, otherwise known as where the Hexa are being held. The Hexa, a group of Ghosts who were banished to a holding realm for trying to take over and ruin the Ghost Universe, are now free from their cell. Hibiki Ishii and Jökull Arason were tracked as being at that gate when it opened.  Now both are pointing the finger, saying it was the other one. The Council needs to figure out who is responsible while also trying to capture the Hexa before they destroy the universe of the dead as they know it. The worst part? They only have sixty days.
