Sun is a bright light within the Council. Always floating around with a smile on her face, she loves her job on the Council. Other members describe her mood as infectious. Catching her in a bad mood is rare. But the members know that she is fainthearted. She acts very similarly to a young girl even though her mind has aged with her over the years. She is easy to upset, but members don't like to hurt her so they try to avoid any harsh topics around her. Admittedly, some of the members find this difficult, since her history is shrouded in a bit of mystery. Things such as her red eye and past are not very clear. Even Hibiki is difficult about revealing anything in her life book, which he tends to be not-so-conservative about. This has led many members to theorize about her authenticity as a real person, but they don't like to think she isn't real since they collectively see her like a younger sister. Despite all of this, many have been able to put this to the side and interact with her as if there isn't anything unusual going on (mainly for her own sake).

Typically if you were to go to Sun's office for an unexpected visit you'll find her singing a tune or drinking her fifth cup of tea of the day. Even though her job can be demanding, she makes time for the many things she enjoys. Since she didn't live a long life, she is using the afterlife she was given to make up for it. Other hobbies include modeling for Eloise, playing with her pet bunny, dancing, watching Sailor Moon a million times, and more.
