Adirondack chair
Having an Adirondack chair is almost a requirement if you have a deck, porch, or other favorite sitting spot. This spot does not include your living room, UNLESS you just moved in and there is nothing else to sit on. I will not go into why or how I know this.

In the spring of 2015, I took a class on how to make an Adirondack chair. It was fun and I picked up a few tips on using a router table (a tool I did not own at the time, had never used, but wanted after I took the class).

The result of the class was an Adirondack chair made out of cypress. Cypress is a wood that resists rot and insects. I keep my chair on my front porch where my wife steals it for her use as often as possible. I guess I need to make a second one.
