How to install a NVMe SSD drive in a M.2 slot

It’s not that difficult to install an NVMe into an M.2 slot into a desktop PC.

Before you start check to see if your motherboard supports NVMe SSDs.

Be aware there are PCIe versions of SSD drives, these do not fit into an M.2 slot.
