Mouse behaviour had started to become very jerky and bouncing up and down when wheel was used.

Time to clean up the mouse wheel. Need to open up the mouse rather than trying to blow air at it.

Replacing the BIOS Battery on your motherboard. If you have a reliable PC or laptop you may want to keep it running. The BIOS or UEFI keeps vital information available for the boot process as well as many other functions. If your CMOS battery has been running for a few years it may eventually give up. Replacing the battery is usually fairly easy and most devices use a standard battery easily which can be bought locally.

Some printer have a sponge to act as collector for excess ink (WastePad). This tends to get very wet over time. This is a simple solution for my Epson printer.
