Red "High Fashion" Dress with Bow

This 4 item silk crepe and satin cocktail dress by Christian LaCroix came as a bit of a disappointment after the treasure in the previous outfit box, the Travolta gown. But it really shouldn't have been; it's amazingly accurate.

• • • • • • • • The accessories are ruby, diamond and pearl drop earrings, a red satin clutch bag & red pumps.

              • The hem is set just above the knee with a small satin bow centered on the satin bodice, while the body of the dress is a red silk crepe. Diana wore this in Paris to a fund-raising event in 1995 at the Petit Palais.

              • The purse isn't authentic to the shape of the one Diana carried.

              • The original doll was available for purchase wearing this outfit instead of the blue suit directly from FM. I liked this, it's a great dress, but I liked getting all the goodies that came with the Travolta gown, too...
