Panther Dining offers 31 different restaurants across the Modesto Maidique and Biscayne Bay campuses. There are endless options to satisfy your cravings including Panera, Panda Express, Starbucks and Salad Creations at MMC, while Moe's, Grille Works and Subway are a few of the options offered at BBC. Students are welcome to dine at the 8th Street Campus Kitchen, an all you can eat restaurant, open seven days a week and offers a variety of foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner. FIU also has several convenience stores that are open late and more than 280 vending machines providing quick access to snacks, ice cream and beverages.
Want something good to eat? You’ll find lots of choices on campus and an FIU meal plan gives you easy access to all of them. There are several flexible plans to choose from, and each one saves you money compared to paying with cash or a credit card.
The meal plan you select will be automatically uploaded to your FIU One Card account. To use the plan, simply swipe with the blue line of your FIU Student ID Card. All FIU meal plans include:
At least 9 meal swipes per week from 8th Street Campus Kitchen (FIU's signature all you care to eat restaurant)
Dining Dollars to use at American and international campus restaurants
Access to vegetarian or vegan food options
Please Note: As of Summer 2021, G1Y does not offer meal plans for the Summer Term. Students are welcome to opt into a meal plan of their choice offered by Panther Dining, but it is not a requirement.
