William COOPER

William Cooper was a seaman on the Alligator in 1823. He was free by certificate.

He was a crew member on the Nereus in 1824

A sealer, Cooper, acted as interpreter for William Light on the mainland.

Captain John Hart (1809-1873) listed William Cooper age about 40 living at Point Marsden in 1836
