Ten kilometres south-east of Eudunda in the Hundred of Neales. William Henry Neale, who took out an occupation licence on 1 July 1847 which he called 'Burra Hill'.

When this land was first subdivided in 1838 a cottage was built for its new owner William Henry Neale and he lived here on the banks of the creek for two years until he became bankrupt in 1841.
