You will not collapse in a heap on the floor.
Ask yourself
“What is the worst that can happen?”
“What if I fail” “What will I do”
Then make plans
“I will try again”
“I will change what I want to do”
“I will ask for help”
“I will try something new”
“I will start a different college course”
Tell yourself
“It doesn’t mean I’m stupid”
“As long as I tried my best. That’s all that matters”
“I can learn from my mistakes”
“There is always another way to do things”
“My friends and family don’t think any less of me”
