My name is Mark and I live in the U.K. and in 1982 when the TV show started I was 14 years old and instantly Fame attracted me attention, as it was unlike any other TV show. I totally loved the music, the dancing, the energy and the wonderful cast. Although I had no desire myself to be an actor, singer, dancer or any kind of performer, I became gripped by the stow and it's story lines.

In fact obsessed is probably a better word! From the albums, singles, books, magazines, annuals to the concerts, episodes and finding out more about the cast, my whole life became dominated by the show.

Its been over 40 years since the show started and I still enjoy the episodes today and I have watched them so many times. It became my quest to obtain every episode, firstly on video and then on DVD. This hasn't been easy as only the first 2 seasons have been officially released but after years of searching and waiting I finally got access to every episode from every season, which I share on this site.

Over the years the cast have become friends and I wanted to share my love of Fame and my extensive collection of memorabilia and information on the show, so in 2009 I created the KIDS FROM FAME MEDIA blog.
