Live In Concert
With the huge International success of Fame it wasn't long before the cast were performing sell out concerts around the World. Initially in the U.K. in 1982, then a bigger U.K. tour which took in other parts of Europe like The Netherlands and Belgium and then into Israel.
In 1983 they started performing U.S. concerts to be televised as part of the the TV series. Even when concert broadcasts stopped the cast were often performing at American Schools, Parking Lots and Shopping Malls.
Once the Show ended the concerts stopped but in 2009 Italian fans led by Stefano Mendogni reunited some of the cast for some club shows in Italy. This led to bigger concerts with more cast members in 2011, 2015 and 2017. An L.A. concert also took place in 2017 and U.K. Reunions in 2019 and 2022.
