The existing primary suite had a small bathroom and tiny closet while a guest bedroom and bathroom adjacent to the space sat unused. By removing walls and absorbing the space from the additional bedroom and bathroom, a true primary suite was created.

The original single vanity was replaced with a spacious double vanity plus built-in linen storage. A large walk-in closet concealed with a pocket door at the entrance to the bathroom provided the much-needed storage space the homeowners desired. A 3-D wave pattern tile on the back shower wall provides an interesting focal point.

In order to provide the needed slope for draining water from the new wet room, the existing floor joists were modified and two linear drains were installed. Dual showerheads and built-in niches were added and the entry from the bedroom to the bathroom was relocated but remained seamless. The stand-alone tub provides the perfect place to relax and unwind in this spacious primary suite. The homeowners were able to rethink the space and create the amazing primary suite of their dreams.
