Freegle is a UK organisation that aims to increase reuse and reduce landfill by offering a free Internet-based service where people can give away and ask for things that would otherwise be thrown away. We've found it really useful when first moving to University to get pots, pans, duvets, pillows, lamps, shelving, plants and all-sorts that we couldn't afford.

Box of Broadcasts (BoB) is an on demand TV and radio service for education. Staff and students at most UK Universities can record programmes from many free-to-air channels and search an extensive archive, as well as creating clips, and compiling playlists. BoB is produced by Learning on Screen: the British Universities and Colleges Film and Video Council.Â
Essentially it's free and legal TV!
