This digital handout that was created with Canva was designed with student collaboration and for teacher and student to be able to pick up the handout and know exactly what needs to be completed. All the activities within the lesson involve students working in collaboration with each other and facilitates discussion and student led learning compared to the teacher splitting the class up into groups to work on the same task. 

The padlet posts and google drive exercises give the students complete Autonomy on the amount of work and what sort of information is put into the activities compared to the teacher just giving out a worksheet and the lesson being a teacher led and may reduce the level of student engagement (MacGregor,1992). 

The majority of the exercises incorporate digital technologies such as online blogs or forums used for educational learning such as virtual student discussion boards, google docs to enable collaboration between students to complete a task and engage in learning (Henderson, 2013).
