Trying the most Oko-y list we can think of. My Vines are gone :( but at least one of them is in the board.
Trying to decide if Breeding Pool should be some other land. Like I said in League 45, Oko wrecks the fair decks the way that people say that SFM does (but SFM doesn't).
4-1 (8-5). Oko dominates boards in an unsettling way. Pretty blank against Tron though. We picked up our first loss against Tron, ever.
Oko probably belongs in the All-In deck; I'm willing to say that now.
I did lose a game because of mana issues (The Breeding Pool), but I could have played around it and didn't realize what was happening.
XOO UW (T5, T6) Lifetime 7-11 vs UW
OO Affinity (T3, T3) Lifetime 4-0 vs Affinity
XX Tron Lifetime 11-1 vs Tron
OXO Blue Moon (T13, T4) Lifetime 2-1 vs Blue Moon
XOO Ad Nauseam (T4, T3) Lifetime 4-0 vs Ad Nauseam
Oko should be strong here.
I kept this. You really need to not keep hands like this, but it worked out for me:
Once Upon a Time is a land. Argh. Luckily we topdeck T2 Oko.
Opponent stabilizes at 6 by casting Verdict on 4 into Jace +Path T5 into Verdict on 6.
Their late game of Narset + Geier Reach is really strong.
We misplay badly by not killing a Narset when we can, and then sequencing wrong on T17.
Ouch.
That said, Oko actually carried us on his back all the way to T16.
-2 Vizier -2 Once -1 Bird +4 Veil +1 Vines
Sure
T2 Druid gets Pathed. T3 I Call for Ranger-Captain to try to play it T4 with Veil up.
It works, and the Veil draws a Lunge. So we Silence and win T5.
Oh no... this is bad.
Keeping this:
ok I guess.
Opponent Forces a Once Upon a Time pitching a Snapcaster, then Mana Leaks and Surgicals the Okos T2.
Opponent then concedes to a Veil of Summer when they are not dead.
They were dead as it turned out, but oh well. Win T6.
This deck is outdated by a large margin and shouldn't be possible to lose to.
Yup!
Opponent has 0 interaction spells before T3 and needs at least 2.
Win T3.
+1 Vines +2 Ouphe +1 Caterpillar +1 Manglehorn -2 Bird -1 Lunge -2 Oko
Sure
Opponent has a Dispatch for my T2 Druid. Opponent needed 2 interaction spells and had 1.
Win T3.
This is almost unloseable but we lost some speed AND some "beating T3 Karn" by switching Evolutions and Vines to Okos.
Hmm. I kept this for some reason. Really the only way to lose to Tron is to keep bad hands like this.
-3 Oko +1 Vines +2 Ouphe
No
No
This is close for a 5:
Dying to mulligans is sad but whatever, it happens.
Oko should be strong here.
This is great!
Once Upon a Time is a Druid, so T1 Giver T2 Druid T3 try to win.
T3 Finale gets a Remand.
T4 Finale gets a Remand.
T5 Finale gets an Archmage's Charm and the Druid gets a Bolt. Opponent plays a Jace, the Mind Sculptor on T5.
T6 I kill the Jace with 3 Nobles.
Oko wins the game T13 after resolving T9.
-1 Vizier -2 Bird -1 Once
Yup:
T2 Druid dies. I lunge and only need one white to win with Vizier. Unfortunately it turns out that the opponent has a Remand. So my poor tapping means I can't win with the Lunge. Opponent untaps and kills me with an Anger.
No:
Okay!
Bottom the Breeding Pool. Opponent has only a Bolt.
Win T4.
We should be faster and better than them. This should be easy.
This is actually questionable:
I didn't make them have it on T4, so they won T5. This is a really bad punt.
-2 Bird -3 Oko +3 Veil +2 Ouphe
I demanded better than this:
umm Thrice Upon a Time?
Okay: keep 4 of these
I bottom the Plains, Heath, and Rainforest keeping Canopy, Hierarch, Finale, Once.
I figure if Once Upon a Time is either Druid or Vizier we are fine. Instead it hits nothing but Ballista.
Crack a Canopy and Win T4.
Yup! Make them have it.
Win T3.
4-1 (8-5).
Nice performance. I hate this manabase.
I don't know how to fix it.
