At 5th monk level, learn a mystic or oath cantrip. Use wisdom as the casting attribute for it. Grant it one of the following benefits, if applicable:
2 extra cantrip upgrades.
a +2 bonus to a spell attack.
a +2 bonus to a DC.
The cantrip can target allies within 30 feet, if the original range is self.
Can target two creatures if the range is touch or single-target spell attack.
The cantrip can be cast in place of a flurry attack if the cantrip has a touch or spell attack component.
You can spend a rest dice to apply one of the other effects on this list to it.
At 5th monk level, gain proficiency with insight. If already proficient, gain expertise. If already expert, gain a +1 bonus to it.
You gain 50ft of aura sight while focusing and standing still. Allowing you to perceive the presence of greater wills, forces, powers, spells, or encchantments though only vaguely (Subject to GM.)
At 5th monk level, you may take 1 damage to fatigue, lose 1 instance of block or spend 1 rest dice to gain a 1d4 bonus to a save.
You regain 1 extra rest dice during a rest if you start the rest at 0 rest dice.
At 6th monk level, choose 2 upgrades:
Fists of power - Your unarmed strikes deal an additional 1d4 force, sonic, lightning, or fire damage. The damage choice is yours. Can be taken multiple times.
Cantrip secrets - Upgrade a cantrip or spell you know to gain one of the following benefits, if applicable (Can be taken multiple times):
Increase a non-d20 dice used in the cantrip by 1 size category, up to a maximum of 1d12.
Allow an effect of the cantrip to last twice as long.
Decrease a non-d20 dice used in the cantrip by 1 size category, down to a minimum of 1d2.
Increase a DC by 2.
Remove an HP cost component.
Upgrade with extra 5th level cantrip upgrade, if it is a cantrip.
Calm mind - Gain resistance to psychic damage. Your rest dice maximum is increased by 2.
Rites of the dead - You may spend a rest dice to either sanctify a dead creature, preventing it from being raised as undead, or to directly deal 3d12 necrotic damage to an undead creature within 20 feet. If this slays an undead creature, the rest dice is refunded.
Listen to laylines - You may spend a rest dice while at a site of power, an exposed or elevated laylines, or a place that is exposed to powerful mystical or oath magic(Subject to GM.) to gain knowledge of the general state in a location of your choice (must be in the same plane.) or to listen to arcane whispers (Subject to GM.) Gain a +1 bonus to checks made to interact with arcane and magical items.
Mystical magic - Learn a 1st level mystic spell. You can spend 1 rest dice to cast it. Can be taken twice to learn a 2nd level mystic spell that can be cast at the cost of 2 rest dice. Use wisdom as the casting modifier.
Oath magic - Learn a 1st level oath spell. You can spend 1 rest dice to cast it. Can be taken twice to learn a 2nd level oath spell that can be cast at the cost of 2 rest dice. Use wisdom as the casting modifier.
At 6th monk level, you can choose to unleash an inner reserve of power once per long rest as a bonus and move action:
Gain 6 temporary rest dice that last for 1 hour.
Gain a +1d4 bonus to saves for 1 hour.
Gain a +1d4 bonus to block block checks for 1 hour.
After this time, you lose all your remaining rest dice.
