Tropical Pacific Decadal Oscillation is a decadal-scale cycle in the state of climate variability in the tropical Pacific Ocean. It has a typical duration of ten years and regulates the temperature of the tropical Pacific Ocean, including the thermocline and the ocean surface, by means of a large and complex coupling between the atmosphere and ocean. The cycle is responsible for the El Niño-Southern Oscillation and other phenomena that are part of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation system.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is a narrow strip of thunderstorms located in the tropics that encircles the globe. The ITCZ is caused by wind shear, and is brought about by the interaction of the trade winds and the movement of the equator. The ITCZ is classified based on its position and strength, with positive ITCZs associated with equatorial high-pressure systems, and negative ITCZs associated with equatorial low-pressure systems.

Anger and confusion can become detrimental to their psychosocial well-being.
