The Human World and the Digital World, two dimensions that have existed in tandem since ancient times. Their influence over each other runs deep; myths, monsters and legends forming from small collisions between the two worlds. 

Throughout its history, the Atlas Server of the Digital World has suffered at the hands of malicious forces; beings who threaten both it and the Human World. To protect both worlds, Yingarna, the Server's ancient protector, called upon champions from both worlds, pairing them together to become a force much stronger than any singular entity. These warriors, known through legends as Digi-Destined, have fought against the darkness all throughout history, each group adding to the legends that surround these protectors.

It's been a decade since the last group of Digi-Destined were called to the Digital World.; seven humans and their partner digimon tasked with stopping a maniacal tyrant before they could amass enough power to plunge the Atlas Server into despair. The seven chosen children were successful in their mission, but a dark shadow continued to loom over the Digital World. Believing that their mission was yet to be completed, the Digi-Destined remained in the digital world, setting up a base of operations along with the help of an AI they befriended so that they’d be able to travel freely between the human and digital worlds.

The darkness that threatened the Atlas Server soon became known to the Digi-Destined; a strange plague swept through the world, corrupting seemingly tame and peaceful digimon and turning them berserk. These corrupted digimon, often referring to themselves as Kopya, razed villages and caused havoc seemingly without rhyme or rhythm. These Kopya were stronger than regular digimon, had glowing red eyes, and seemed to act almost with a hive-mind mentality. The Digi-Destined fought hard to protect the villages from this new threat, but the sheer number of digimon affected made it an insurmountable task. 

This new threat to the Digital World was unlike any before it, and Yingarna's reaction was equally distinct. Over the next few years, the group noticed that more and more humans were falling into the Digital World, more erratically than before. In order to help the new arrivals, the Organisation was built from the groups original base, a home and respite in the Digital World. With so many new Digi-Destined arriving to continue the fight, the older members of the original team returned to their lives in the human world, leaving the three youngest of the original team to run the Organisation.

The Organisation's mission is clear; protect the Atlas Server from the growing army of Kopya who threaten it, and find out the cause of this plague. While the Organisation is still very small, each new hero brought into the Digital World by Yingarna strengthens the group and moves them one step closer to their goal.
