"And here is the new meeting room," Megabyte announced as the group entered. The leaders admired the newly furnished area: drawers, plants, a huge lovely black desk and plush chairs, a great improvement from the crate and fold-out chairs that previously occupied the space.
"So swanky!" Ame cheered, running a finger over one of the drawers. "Just wait until Adrian sees all this. Too bad he's still in the human world, he'd love the make-over.
"You did a great job Megabyte," Austin congratulated.
"Praise is unnecessary, it was a simple renovation to carry out."
"Well you did great regardless." The two leaders took their seats, along with the three AIs, they didn't need to be seated but it felt more professional.
"Over the last few weeks we've seen a rise in Digi-Destined," Ame began, showing profiles of all the new members of the Organisation. "Up until now it's usually only been sporadic."
"The sudden rise is probably Yingarna preparing for something big," Austin added.
"So it's likely connected to the plague that's been spreading across the Atlas Server," Kilobyte guessed. "In which case, we'll want to be prepared."
"Problem is, the Organisation itself isn't strong enough to stop this without support from the local digimon," Megabyte pointed out, folding his arms. "And you humans aren't the most popular at present."
"Current Digi-Destined approval rating among local digimon is 27.1%," Gigabyte informed.
"That low huh?" Ame sighed, leaning back in her seat. "I'm not surprised, but it still stings."
"If we want to help the digital world, we need to start small," Austin directed. "We need to earn some good will with the locals. I suggest sending the tamers out to help around Origin Planes, get them acquainted with the locals."
"If goodwill is the objective," Megabyte took control of the holographic projector, "reports of digimon going missing have popped up in Digital City. So far, a young Patamon and twin Koromon are listed as missing."
"No one knows where they went?" Ame asked, concerned. "We need to help find them."
"I can investigate the disappearances and send teams to aid in the search once I have some leads," Kilobyte suggested. "More eyes means there's a higher chance we find these missing digimon."
"Great," Austin gave the red AI a nod of approval. "I'll let everyone know the plan. Meeting adjourned."
Every hero needs their 'save the cat' moment and here's your chance. The digital world is full of digimon who could use help with mundane tasks. Draw or write about your character helping out around Origin Plains; getting groceries for Jijimon, helping Babamon cross the street, volunteering at Digitamamon's Diner and so on. Once a few entries have been submitted, and Kilobyte has gathered enough intel, the RP to find the missing digimon will begin.

"So, what are we looking for exactly?" Austin asked as he pushed aside a crate of sports gear, the old wood creaking in protest.
"Mika told me the digimon mentioned a queen," Ame informed. She brushed away a clump of webs with a grimace; spiders were usually cute, she remembered loving to see the small jumping ones in the planters when she was little, but even she had to admit this was too much web. "There was also a woman they encountered, though I don't think that's who the Queen refers to."
"The woman's undoubtedly Arukenimon," Adrian surmised. He walked up to the stage, seeing the deteriorated remains of a web throne.
"If it were Arukenimon, why would she show her face?" Austin questioned. "Last time we encountered her, she was puppeteering everything from the shadows."
"She might have thought we'd catch on sooner or later and decided it wasn't worth hiding."
"Or she's trying to psyche out the new members."
"Speaking of." Ame turned away from her searching to look towards Austin. "How is Lavi? I heard he got hit hard."
"Recovering," Austin responded. "SnowLoupmon's been treating his wounds."
"I'm glad no one on my team was hurt so badly," Ame sighed. "Kryssa took the brunt of it, but she bounced back ok."
"You're team's a lot more careful than mine," Austin chuckled. "I'm definitely going to have a chat with them about their recklessness."
"Look here!" Adrian called out quickly, fishing something out of the web pile. Austin and Ame stopped their searching and bee-lined for the stage. As they approached, Adrian lifted the metal coin. The coin was simple, seemingly made of steel, the backside was plain while the front has an engraving of four eyes on each cardinal direction. The north eye, as well as the two side ones, were open while the southern eye was closed. When the pair spotted the symbol, their blood ran cold.
"No way," Ame voiced, completely in disbelief. "She can't be back."
"We shouldn't get worried too quickly," Adrian assured her. "We've dealt with loony fanatics before. This could mean nothing, just a group of nutjobs deluding themselves."
"I don't think that's a chance we can afford to take," Austin rebutted, his tone deadly serious. "If she's somehow returning, we need to be prepared."
"Should we tell the others?" Ame asked. The question hung heavy in the air for a moment. There was so much to say, so much to admit.
"No," Austin responded finally. "Let them enjoy their victory."
"I don't know..." Ame took a breath, going over the options. "But if you think it's best, ok."
"What do we do about it, though?" Adrian asked.
"We prepare. The new kids are skilled but they'll need more training if we do have to fight her again." Austin looked over to Adrian, who gave a nod. He'd been meaning to test out their skills anyway, so he'd happily train them. "I'll look further into this. Someone has to know something if these zealots are heralding her return." Austin turned to Ame. "Are you ok handling things on the Organisation side? I'll try to return every few days or so in case I'm needed, but who knows how long it'll take me to scrounge up what we need."
"Leave it to me," Ame assured with a nod. "Just keep us updated on what you find."
"If we're lucky, I'll find nothing. But I have a bad feeling that won't be the case," Austin replied, looking down at the coin.
