[Name] Adrian Bendetti

[Height] 5'10
[Nationality] Italian/American
//About//
[Personality]
Adrian is a perfectionist, always looking to be neat, presentable, and to do things right, but what he considers so doesn’t translate to others. Across his journey in the Digital World when he was younger he learned to find his own path to strength and that some people need their own paths and methods. As such he’s grown into a more understanding young man, pushing others to find their paths, even if he can get impatient and be a little too pushy about it. That said, he has nothing but respect for those who try their best, even when they fumble along the way. Though he speaks of perfection, his definition of such is tied firmly to the willingness to keep getting up when you’re down and keep trying to be your best self.

If you wreck his kitchen, you will be the one to clean it up. Bulucomon is his emotional reset button, if he gets too heated, pushes too hard, or gets too stressed, Bulucomon blows a winter breeze in his face to give him a cold shock. Adrian grew up fairly well with a family that owned their own restaurant in the Human World, being taught how to cook by his mother once he began gaining an interest at the age of six. His father used to be a part of his life when he was young, but he didn’t retain much of a memory of him before he left his mother when he was roughly four years old. In learning his mother’s trade, he became familiar with the stresses of her job, the pressure to make the meals of customers perfectly, to keep pushing to make the restaurant better and more well-known, to keep raking in customers and hire good staff. His mother once admitted to Adrian that she sometimes felt like he was the only person she could relax with when making food for someone.
Across the next two years, Adrian did his best to retain every lesson his mother taught him and tried his hardest to be a perfect child for her, to take some of the strain off her shoulders and give her one less thing to worry about. As time pressed on, he’d blame himself whenever his mother came home on a bad day, worrying he wasn’t doing enough to make her happier, and that stress only got worse when he fell into the Digital World at the age of eight. Adrian became stressed about how much his absence would wear down on his mother, but with the help of Bulucomon and the other Digidestined, however, he learned to let go of his worries, or at least to prioritize what was most important in the moment. He and his partner eventually unlocked the power of the Crest of Diligence and, with it, and the other six Digidestined, they were able to bring down a terrible tyrant and save the Digital World.
Adrian was able to come back to his mother, with Bulucomon in tow to help explain and validate his story to her, making sure to keep his partner hidden from others to avoid a panic. A fabricated story was made up for the police, he was back with his mother again, and even Bulucomon found a new home away from home. However, it would soon come to light that the Digidestined were needed once again, calling Adrian back. This time, he knew how to travel freely between the two worlds and would be able to keep in check with his mother, though she was reluctant to let him go again, he was older, stronger, and more savvy now.
