//About//
[Personality]
Optimistic | Caring | Determined | Impulsive| Stubborn
Austin is very cheerful and laid-back, he likes to live in the moment and doesn’t tend to dwell on things. This, of course, leads him to being rather impulsive; moments can slip by without warning and so Austin makes sure to follow every instinct he has, a quality that’s gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion. Austin is a naturally caring person, he likes to uplift those around him. In the past this has been exploited by people, which left Austin bitter and distant, though through his time in the digital world he's learnt that there will always been more people who need kindness than those who exploit it. As a leader in the organisation, Austin takes time to regularly check up on new arrivals to the digital world to help them settle in and his room is left unlocked for anyone who needs to talk to him or find a quiet place to chill.

Austin had always been a kind boy. His father was always very ill and that made him and Austin's mother sad so Austin always tried to make them smile, he loved seeing them smile. His kindness extended to others as well, he was always willing to help out, share his things and compliment others. It used to make Austin so happy to have so many friends around, but things soon changed.
Austin's dad died when he was seven years old. His illness caught up to him and there was nothing that could be done. Austin's mother was devastated, Austin's older brother withdrew and Austin himself was feeling emotions he couldn't fully understand. Austin tried going to his friends to help him feel better, to not feel the strange emotions, but they were much less interested in him when he wasn't giving them things. When it was time for Austin to need help, he was all alone. This left Austin closed off and distant, people only wanted to use him, he didn't have any friends of his own.
That's the state he was in when he was first brought to the Digital World at age eight, a closed off bitter boy who had yet to deal with the death of his father.
The digital world had called upon Austin, as well as six other kids, to stop a tyrant from amassing enough power to take control of the digital world. Austin's partner digimon was Snowloupmon, a snow wolf with a calm temperament. Through his time with Snowloupmon and the other digidestined, Austin relearnt how good it felt to help others, and saw how much good his kindness could do to the world. He learned to show kindness even to those who don't necessarily deserve it in times of need, triggering his Crest of Compassion.
With the tyrant stopped, the digital world should have been saved, but a shadow remained cast over the Atlas server. A plot to plunge the digital world into darkness was stirring and the digidestined knew their job wasn’t finished. The group set up a base of operations along with the help of an AI they befriended so that they’d be able to travel freely between the human and digital worlds. Over the next few years, the group noticed that more and more humans were falling into the digital world. In order to help the new arrivals, the Organisation was built from the groups original base, a home and respite in the Digital World. With so many new digidestined arriving to continue the fight, the older members of the original team returned to their lives in the human world, leaving Austin and Ame to run the Organisation.
