Rhus Morgenroth was born and raised in the Midwest of America alongside his three older sisters: Azalea, Marigold, and Iris. His home life was never the best, but also never the worst when he was a kid. When he was a toddler, before Rhus could even walk, his mom had walked out on him, his sisters, and his father. Not a word said, a letter left, or a rhyme or reason. Just an empty coffee cup and earrings left on the dresser. Rhus’ father never spoke about it, and would get quiet when asked about it.
Eventually, he stopped searching for answers about his mother. He had his sisters after all, who raised him and encouraged him to explore the world at his own pace, to discover himself. It was hard sometimes, as he began to figure himself out, his identity, what he liked, his father was not cruel or horrible to Rhus, but he never made interactions easy. His sisters, however, were always happy to answer Rhus’ questions. Azalea was a tattoo artist and gave Rhus his very first tattoo, a rainbow butterfly on his right wrist. She helped him express himself and helped him dye his hair pink.
Marigold was a bit of a gearhead, very techy and smart. But she was also good at dancing and helped Rhus discover his outlet, dancing, and pole dancing, and showed him all the best thrift shops for clothes that made him comfortable with himself. It made him feel free like the wind.
And Iris was a makeup artist who showed Rhus how to do his makeup and eyeliner so he could express himself. Rhus never let the hardships of being neglected by his father ruin him. He knew how to live life as blissfully as the wind.
