Mika is a quiet boy that will tend to act more like a lone wolf at times. He can be very hard headed about situations and often will end up trying to do things his way. When he first meets people he will always silently judge them as his past has led him to be introverted around others. However, once his stubborn, rough exterior is broken through, you'll find him to be a loyal kid that's passionate about his feelings.

Early Years

Mika grew up in Tokyo. His mother was an American that was charmed by a very smart, and very handsome young man from Japan. She married him and moved in with him in his apartment in Japan. Not long after they had a little girl named Ame, and not long after that, Mika came along. These two kiddos were thick as thieves. Little trouble makers that were always playing together.

Then one day the most bizarre thing happened to them! Two colorful eggs popped out of their computer while the two were playing a puzzle game on it. With them came some kinda small devices. From the eggs came these small but very cute looking marshmallow looking critters. They were purple and had these little black eyes. They never really knew for sure what they were but they didn't care, they had pets of their very own and their mom and dad had no idea!

Ame and Mika kept their small friends a secret from their parents since they both had voiced keeping a pet would be too hard for their current financial situation. Then about a month in, their little friends changed- or even evolved. One became a slightly larger ball with little devil like horns on its head, while the other became a sort of bright pink and teal thing that had cute little feathery ears.

With their new looks came the ability to talk. The purple one introduced its self as Yaamon, while the other called its self Pipmon. The two filled Ame and Mika in that they were called digimon and that they were their partners.

Ame and Mika felt special needless to say, but it was after all this that things changed. Yaamon and Ame grew distant. Mika hardly got to spend time with her and when he'd try, Yaamon would just scare him away. Before long, Ame would start bullying Mika and Pipmon by having Yaamon attack them. After a while, Yaamon evolved again, now known to the kids as digi-evolution, into a bigger digimon named Impmon.

Impmon was even more mean spirited than Yaamon was! He would now chase poor Mika and Pipmon around the house when his parents were away. Sadly these games went a little too far one day when Impmon decided "you know what sounds fun? LETS SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE!" Thankfully Ame snapped out of her mean streak and helped her brother get out of the burning building. However still living in an apartment, she ran back in to help get the other residence out.

Ame lost her life in the fire, trying to save others, and her digimon disappeared... Good reddens, that's what Mika thought. He hatted that little demon, it tormented him for a year and then finally his sister who he loved so much was killed by the little monster. In his eyes a digimon caused the worst thing in his life to happen, and wats worse is that his mom and dad thought that he was responsible for the fire. They still loved him dearly but they were just so devistated...

It's been eleven years since then, and Mika has become a little bitter, and dislikes digimon, even his own partner Pipmon, who's trying his hardest to be there for his tamer.
