The e-mail Information Service is a popular service of our Library among the users. It supports users in academic research and allied activities. The library delivers information through its official mail ID:  librarian@pskcollegedeur.ac.in and e-mail groups created as per the user's category.

Library information support services and alerts are offered through different online platforms. A WhatsApp Broadcasting group was created separately for the students and teachers.

The library uses the commercial software- AutoLib NG for swift circulation of the reading material. The Library has been fully automated with the help of this Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS).

We provide a peaceful environment for reading with a separate room for students and a section for the faculty members.

A separate IT Section is made available to the Library users for Internet browsing, searching, & download the online e-Resources and other computer/ Internet-related activities.

Reprographic facilities like Photocopy, Scanning, CD writing and Printing are available for the users. 

The library provides the required information and reading material to the users, and sometimes users are directed to the external information resources as per their needs.

Teachers and students are alerted to the current information under this service. CAS is provided through different platforms like e-mail, WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Library Portal and LFD TV etc.

E-mail and WhatsApp are used for delivering SDI services. The individual user is supported by providing the specific information as per his/ her own needs.

Poor and needy college students get the necessary set of Textbooks under this scheme for each academic year absolutely free of cost. Interested students have to fill out the Book Bank Application Form of Siddhivinayak Trust, Mumbai and submit it to the Library.

The scheme of Scholar's Card is designed primarily to assist brilliant students in their studies by providing them with additional study material and services. Faculty members recommend such students, and they have to fill online membership application as a 'Scholar Student' to avail the benefits of the Scholar's Card scheme.

Inter-Library Loan Service facilitates the users to borrow the required books from other college libraries. Staff members can avail this facility by applying online.

The library has placed indicative pictures and labels on the book shelves through which users may easily reach the required book/ reading material easily. Pictorial Aid has been proven very useful to the users to find out the reading resources quickly.

The library also offers bibliographic services under which a printed catalogue is provided to the users, and a list of bibliographical references, as well as the cover page of the books are compiled on the given subject and sent to the concerned user through e-mail and WhatsApp.

The library has developed a separate webpage- Publishing World, where users may get online access to websites of local, national and international publishers and may find catalogues of books, journals and other academic publications.

Every year, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of our former president, Late Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, we celebrate Reading Inspiration Day and organizes a Book Fair for the students and teachers.

Every year, at the beginning of the academic year, students are informed regarding library resources, services and facilities through the Orientation Programme/ Information Literacy Programme.

The library offers the 'Best User Award' every year to motivate the students to engage in the Library. The prize is given on behalf of the Librarian, Mr. Harshal Bhimsen Pawar, which includes a certificate, Trophy and a cash prize.
