Disability means ‘incapacity to perform any activities in the usual or within the range considered normal for a human being’. A person with a disability may include a person who is blind or partially sighted, a person with a learning or intellectual disability, a person who is hearing impaired, a person with a physical disability, and a person with mental difficulty etc.

The separate law- PWD Act, 1995: The Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation)  has been passed by the Govt. of India to fulfil the needs of the differently-abled persons.

In order to provide equal opportunities for such persons, we are having the following facilities and offering special treatment to the PwDs in our Library & College premises.

The library has obtained a printed braille magazine in the Hindi language- 'Reliance Drishti' in the form of a donation from the Reliance Foundation, Mumbai.

Our faculty members have prepared the subject notes in an audio format on different subjects. The library has developed a webpage- 'Audio Notes' for the students through which they can access and download the notes easily on their smartphones or computer or carry them in pen drive also. Blind students can listen to these notes easily with the help of headphones.
