Career Exploration is a required part of CTE classes. There are so many fun ways to incorporate this into your classes and curriculum. On this page you will find all the information you need to get started integrating Career Exploration into your classes!
First let's talk about the difference between Work Site Learning and Work Based Learning
Work-Based Learning- is learning that happens on or off a job site.
Work-Site Learning- Getting CTE credits for working on/at a job site.
Benefits of Work Based Learning
Students who participate in work-based learning that is connected to their school programs may:

An example of something that happens in Amanda's classes is a trade show. My Intro to Marketing classes spend six weeks making contact with and learning about a local business. The culmination of the project is a big trade show in our lunchroom. The students borrow promotional material (and use some they have created) and set up a table to represent the business they chose. The rest of our students can walk around during their lunch time and check out the booths! The most popular booths are the ones with samples (obviously!!),
