Biography

Mariana Isenberg, Argentina 

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she has nurtured a passion for drawing and painting since childhood.

Her love for art has deep roots in her artistic education, which began in 1980 with drawing and painting courses organized by “Consejo de Mujeres” in Buenos Aires. 

In the following years, having attended different courses related to drawing, composition and painting, she developed a particular affection

for art and an appreciation for classical masters under the expert guidance of Marcela Baubeau de Secondigné, who trained her in the different painting techniques and encouraged her artistic growth.

Despite engaging in various activities throughout her life, she made a significant choice after retirement: to fully dedicate herself to painting. Since then she has participated in many exhibitions.

Artist Statement

In my works I seek to express different emotions and sometimes venture into the imaginary world of the characters I represent. Most of them are children or animals.

Experimenting with different techniques and media: acrylic, asphalt paint, watercolor, inks, charcoal and collage, among others, I achieve the fusion of realism and abstraction to transmit the energy I feel, through shapes and colors.
