Biography

Anastasia Nakonechnaya, Artist and craft maker.

Anastasia was born in 1994 in Western Southern part of Russia. 

Her parents always supported her interest in visual arts and crafts. In 2007 she has been selected for studies in public art school. Anastasia has studied there Art History, Academic Drawing, Painting and Fabric Painting (Batik). 

After finishing High school she has choose to continue her art education and enter Fine Arts Faculty in Kuban State University in 2012. There she studied ceramics, sculpture, art history, batik, art graphics, book illustration, academic drawing and painting. 

During her academic years Anastasia participated in the exhibitions of the Scientific Student Society and was selected for the exhibition in Sochi in the pavilion "My Russia" in anticipation of the Winter Olympic Games 2014.

In 2017, Anastasia graduated as an graphic artist. Her graduation work was a series of pastel sheets with Italian cityscapes.

In 2021 Anastasia went to Greece, to a small island called Lefkada, to do volunteer work restoring old and abandoned public buildings. She spent a year on the island and went to Corfu for a few months to explore new places and get inspired.

Now the artist lives in the south of Spain, where  she paints cities and architecture with watercolors and pastels, studying carving paint and Tiffany stained glass.
